USING GAUSSIAN INTEGERS IN INTEGER SOLUTION EQUATIONS

Abstract

Integer solution equations is a very interesting and difficult field of mathematics. It is presented in high school with many exciting and unique solutions and promoting creative abilities of learners. By solving integer solution equations, the learners not only train skills to solve equations, but also improve in terms of logical thinking, argue the issues closely and practice abilities creativity. It can be said that the method of solving integer solution equations is very varied and it is synthesized by many methods of solving equations of all educational levels, such as the method of using arithmetic’s properties, the method of analysing, the method of excluding, the method of parametriczation, the method of using the range of variables, the method of choosing modulo, … This article presents a new method in solving several types of integer solution equations. This is a method that uses the theory of Gaussian integers to solve integer solution equations.
