About the Journal

The University of Danang - Journal of Science and Technology (UD-JST) is an international, peer-review and open access journal.

The journal operates under License No. 510 / GP-BVHTT, dated November 25, 2002 of the Ministry of Culture and Information and is issued with international standard code ISSN 1859-1531 (according to Official Letter No. 44 / TTKHCN-ISSN, February 6, 2007 of the National Center for Science and Technology Information under the Ministry of Science and Technology.

The journal publishes original research results in Vietnamese, English or French (under License No. 210 / CBC, March 5, 2008 of the Department of Press, Ministry of Information and Communications), including 3 numbers in English (under License No. 07 / GP-BTTTT, dated January 7, 2016 of the Ministry of Information and Communications). Articles published in English will be registered in the DOI database by CrossRef.

The journal publishes original research papers (after double blind peer-review process) in various areas ranging from social science to natural science and advanced engineering. The disciplines of the journal include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Social science (psychology, political science, economics, education, business administration, marketing);
  • Humanities (literature, history, language study, law);
  • Natural science (mathematics, physics, chemistry);
  • Advanced engineering (renewable energy, cloud information and communications technology, artificial intelligence, mechatronics, robotics, advanced materials, nanotech, biotech).

The journal is published with 01 issue per month in 01 volume per year. Especially issues in June and December are fully delivered in English.

To continuously improve service quality and increase the citation frequency of authors' works, The University of Danang - Journal of Science and Technology (UD-JST) will gradually increase the number of English articles, starting with the April 2025 issue.

Authors submitting manuscripts to the Journal are requested to take note of the following adjustments:

  1. Authors are encouraged to submit their manuscripts in English.
  2. If submitting a manuscript in Vietnamese, authors must include an appendix at the end of the manuscript containing all FIGURES and TABLES in ENGLISH, with the same size and formatting as in the Vietnamese version.

The Journal's manuscript submission, formatting review, peer review, and publication processes will be adjusted as follows:

  1. For manuscripts in English, authors must ensure language quality by carefully reviewing spelling and grammar. The peer review process remains unchanged.
  2. For manuscripts in Vietnamese, authors must ensure clarity and proper syntax. After completing the peer review process and making necessary revisions based on reviewer feedback, the Editorial Board will translate the manuscript into English. Once the translation is complete, it will be sent to the author for review and confirmation before publication.
  3. Manuscripts that cannot yet be translated into English will continue to be published in Vietnamese as before.
