Abstract
This paper synthesizes and analyzes the potential and feasibility of applying bioenergy from biomass in Vietnam's automotive sector, focusing on bioethanol, biodiesel, and biogas. With abundant biomass resources from agricultural and livestock waste and other sources, Vietnam has significant opportunities to develop biofuels, reducing dependence on imported petroleum and protecting the environment. In addition, application solutions of green hydrogen produced from biomass to manufacture hydrogen fuel cell buses (HFCV) are also mentioned, contributing to the direction of clean energy. However, the paper also highlights challenges related to production costs, distribution infrastructure, and consumer awareness. Proposed solutions include optimizing technology, providing subsidies, investing in infrastructure, and raising public awareness.
