The influence of social networks on students’ ethics and lifestyle (a case of students in Danang city)

Abstract

The article is based on secondary sources to clarify the impacts of social networks on students’ ethics and lifestyle. Primary data is collected by using quantitative methods to analyze the current influence of social networks on the ethics and lifestyle of students in Danang city. Research results show that, social networks have had positive and negative impacts on changing students’ habits, ethics, and lifestyle, which leads to serious consequences such as a life without ambition and ideals, even being afraid to learn and practice, and suffering social evils and law violations. The article evaluates some positive and negative influences that are becoming dangerous in affecting the process of forming students’ personalities. From there, we propose some measures to educate the ethics and lifestyle of students in Danang city against the influence of social networks.
