Effect of comprehensive model of sticky corn Nu 66 on rice land in Kon Tum city, Kon Tum province

Abstract

The study has evaluated the growth and development criteria, and estimated the economic efficiency of the model of sticky corn NU 66 in winter-spring crop of 2015-2016 on water shortage crop land in Nguyen Trai commune, Kon Tum district, Kon Tum province. The model was implemented on an area of 0.2 hectares with an average yield of 42,400 fresh corncobs per hectare. The model can adapt to climate change, making a contribution to the improvement of land use, job creation and profitability for farmers at 31,675,000 VND/ha only after 75 days growing. The model can advise farmers to apply production on irrigated winter-spring crop without irrigation water in Nguyen Trai commune, Kon Tum district, Kon Tum province.
