Promoting foreign direct investment with environmental protection in Da Nang city

Abstract

Da Nang is the leader of Economic central point of Central Vietnam. With its potential and comparative advantages in geographical location, infrastructure and human resources, Da Nang has many advantages in attracting FDI. In recent years, FDI invested into Da Nang has considerably increased and contributed positively to the socio-economic development of the city and the whole region. In the context of new development when the international integration of Vietnam is increasingly deepened with the participation in a range of new Free Trade Agreements (FTA), the attraction of FDI of Da Nang faces both new opportunities and challenges. The top priority in attracting FDI is the structure and quality of projects in line with the socio-economic development strategy of the city and ensuring the maximum reduction of environmental pollution.
