Abstract

In this paper, we study the motion of a color charge in spherically symmetric SU(2) non-Abelian static gauge field configuration, based on the Wong equation system. The expressions of field intensities and the dynamic equations of the color charge motion are identified in the general forms. Applying to Schwarzschild-like gauge field configuration, we obtain the general equations of the color charge motion. Two particular cases of the motion are investigated. In the first case where the function equals zero and the time component of the gauge potential is absent, the motion of the color charge is the scattering motion. In the second case, the color vector is constant. This occurs when the color vector is parallel with the unit radius vector. The color charge motion can be described as a one-dimensional motion in the effective potential energy.
