A RESEARCH ON UTILIZING NATURAL BAMBOO WASTE PRODUCTS IN FABRICATION OF CEILINGS, WALL DECORATION AND ARCHITECTURAL WORKS

Abstract

Bamboo has long been considered a symbol of Vietnam and sticking with Vietnamese through the ups and downs of history. In ancient times, bamboo was used to create the main living things in the family. Now, although it has many new materials but the materials from bamboo still show a unique beauty with many advantages such as many patterns, natural colors and brightness remain in many years, high temperature resistance and limiting catching fire, an alternative material for timber and other artificial materials. Bamboo material has been used for decoration products such as bamboo flooring, ceiling, furniture and wall planks. The solution raised in this paper is recycling bamboo waste such as: bamboo chips, bamboo powder to make ceiling, wall board for interior decoration.
