CURRENT SITUATION OF ONLINE TOURISM ADVERTISING IN DA NANG CITY

Abstract

With the strong development of information technology, the methods of tourism advertising and promotion in the traditional forms such as catalogs, leaflets, posters, banners... have gradually become obsolete. Instead, Internet tool is increasingly showing the important role and its utilities outperform traditional methods mentioned above. That is why e-marketing is increasingly popular in tourism industry. However, compared with other economic sectors, tourism business is relatively weak on the Internet.. Statistics show that, although the number of tourists to Da Nang increases, that of international tourists is decreasing. One cause of this is that tourism promotion is weak. This article is written to find out the current situation of tourism advertising in Da Nang city and make some assessments of the issue.
