Reviewing clustesr of villages in Quang Nam by quantitative methods for tourism management and development.

Abstract

In this article, the author has created a toolkit (process and system of criteria; coefficients, scales) to assess, classify and rank the villages (craft villages, villages, cultural villages) for development of tourism. Based on the toolkit built, the author has surveyed and assessed 27 villages in Quang Nam province. The evaluation results have classified the village system according to the level of favor for tourism development. This is an important base for researchers, management personnel in tourism industry to consult for tourism management and development in the province. At the same time, the results also confirm the reliability and the scientific and practical value of the toolkit.
