Abstract
Three- phase diode rectifier and Dual Active Bridge converter are selected to design model of the fast charger for electric vehicles. The advantage of model is high efficiency, galvanic isolation, and low volume. It is capable of providing high power for electric vehicles in a short time. Fast charger components are designed to ensure high performance. After determining the value of basic elements of circuit like IGBT, leakage inductance, we simulate the model based on Matlab-Simulink. The results show that the efficiency is about 90% with output voltage from 240VDC to 400VDC. The time to obtain 80% of battery State of Charge is about 25 minutes.
