Comfort simulation of sleeper bus

Abstract

Sleeper bus is considered as the new kind of transportation in Viet Nam. Because it is much more comfortable than ordinary coaches,it is being manufactured and greatly used for the North-South long distance travelling transportation (2500 km) of Vietnam in the context of the limitation of other means such as airplanes and railway-trains. The Truong Hai Automotive Joint Stock Company (shortly called Thaco) has recently designed and manufactured this particular type of vehicle based on the Hyundai – Korea’s bare chassis.
This paper presents the study of comfort simulation of sleeper bus, one of most important criteria for assessing the quality of sleeper buses.
The Hyperwork software is used for simulation and Thaco sleeper buses always guarantee the comfort at all positions inside and at all speeds of the vehicle in Vietnam’s exploitable conditions.
