Using PEP-R test to evaluate autistic children at Da Nang psychiatric hospital

Abstract

Unlike other types of disabilities, autistic children face many difficulties during the development process. Without timely support and intervention, the children will face many difficulties in school and later life. One of the effective ways to help autistic children develop is to assess the type, and level of disability, ability and the difficulties that they are facing. Now there are many methods and tools to assess autistic children. In particular, PEP-R is considered as a useful tool in assessing autistic children. PEP-R TEST helps to make the assessment process more accurate and is an important foundation to achieve effective intervention and therapy for the children later. Assessment of children with autism at Da Nang Psychiatric Hospital shows that PEP-R gives effective assessment.
