Designing information technology system for developing and optimizing international patent database

Abstract

Nowadays, there are many diverse inventions in mechanical design sector. However, the exploitation of these inventions is still ineffective. The applications in design and production are not popular and do not receive the highest effect because the companies and factories haven’t still got a lot of information about these patents. The goal of the paper is to build up a software to manage and exploit the invention data in general and in the mechanic design sector in particular.. The software is required to have search functions and invention analysis, and the most important is that the system can automatically update the data from invention resources all over the world. The result is a set of databases and reports on analysis and evaluation of patents used to build effective technology maps.
