Responses to the psychological difficulties of 12th grade students of Thai Phien high school in Danang city

Abstract

Responses are personal efforts to solve individual problems in the development process. There are three typical types of responses: facing difficulties and actions (positive response); seeking social support (relatively positive response); avoiding problems and blaming oneself (negative response). The individual responses are influenced by a lot of factors. Our research does show that 12th grade students of Thai Phien High school, Danang city suffer a variety of difficulties, especially in study, choosing careers and social relationships. Their responses are mainly positive and relatively postive. The difference in these responses depends on gender, learning aptitude and the influence of families, friends and teachers
