Some research results of gasification stove on households scale

Abstract

Vietnam is an agricultural country, so the biomass sources from agriculture and forestry are potential. Therefore, researching on technologies and equipment to utilize such sources is needed, especially in the context of serious lack of energy source in our country. Efficiently using biomass sources helps to reduce dependence on traditional energy resources such as hydropower, coal and oil power, and decrease the carbon dioxide emission. Furthermore, it also helps to deal with pollution due to residue from argricultrure processes. Gasification biomass methods have more advantages compared to direct burning in combustion. This paper presents some results of research on gasification stove on household scale [1], with the hope that it will contribute to application for households in rural areas.
