Abstract

A waste- heat recovery model with a duel-fuel engine is a heat exchanger system. The inside of the heat recovery is designed with multiple flaky layers that are arranged evenly with 60-degree angle to create the exhaust vortex flow as well as store the largest amount of heat for saving energy. The obtained results from the analysis of the heat covery after carrying out show that the storage process is significantly influenced by the exhaust air temperature. Perfomance thermal energy and heat transfer capability of the entire system in the heating process for hydrogen fuel storage has high efficiency. Finally, engine speed and water flow going inside the heat recovery greatly affect the heat rate gained as well as the temperature difference of water flow and exhaust gases.
