Abstract
The wind turbine airfoil model S1210 will be analyzed in two-dimensional space by the method of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) at low Reynolds number condition, Re=204100, corresponding to the wind speed is approximately 9.78 m/s. The variation of the typical aerodynamic parameters of the S1210 airfoil model under different angles of attack (AoA) between -4o and 18o will be considered. Turbulent flow through the surface of the airfoil will be calculated according to the one equation Spalart-Allmaras model. The obtained results show high accuracy when compared with previous experimental data. In addition, in this study, the angle of attack for the highest coefficient of lift Clmax was also given that the previous experiments did not show.
