Abstract
The article aims to investigate the impact of human capital on the economic growth of Vietnam Central provinces where the economic development levels are not high. Using a panel data methodology, the study conducts a combination of different estimation methods, focusing on the 3-stage regression method - 3SLS to reveal the concerned relationship. The results show that, human capital in the form of educational and health capital both have positive effects on growth, particularly per capita income. Spending on education and urbanization supports the increase of educational capital while increasing healthcare expenditure will improve health capital, thus strengthening human capital.
