Nghiên cứu này khám phá tác động của học tập trải nghiệm đến ý định lựa chọn công việc của sinh viên khách sạn - du lịch tại Việt Nam, dựa trên mô hình Nhận thức - Cảm xúc - Ý định hành vi (C-A-C). Phân tích dữ liệu từ 519 sinh viên bằng SMARTPLS 4.0 cho thấy: (i) học tập trải nghiệm ảnh hưởng tích cực đến nhận thức về khả năng được tuyển dụng; (ii) nhận thức này tác động đến niềm đam mê công việc; (iii) niềm đam mê công việc thúc đẩy ý định lựa chọn công việc; và (iv) nhận thức về khả năng được tuyển dụng cùng niềm đam mê công việc đóng vai trò trung gian trong mối quan hệ giữa học tập trải nghiệm và ý định lựa chọn công việc. Kết quả nghiên cứu bổ sung lý thuyết về hành vi lựa chọn công việc, đồng thời cung cấp hàm ý chính sách quan trọng cho các cơ sở đào tạo và doanh nghiệp khách sạn - du lịch trong việc nâng cao chất lượng đào tạo và thu hút nhân lực.
