Abstract

180 gastric patients who met the standards of the study, voluntarily came to Hai Duong Provincial General Hospital for examination and treatment. Information about patients such as age, gender, residence, occupation, numbers of treatment, epigastric pain, bloating, indigestion, poor appetite and weight loss...was collected These patients were taken for endoscopy to have endoscopic biopsy samples at the antrum, body and edge of the gastric ulcer, organizations suspected of infiltrating stomach cancer. DNA was extracted from samples, specific amplification of the ITS2 region and gene sequence analysis. Simultaneously, blood and biopsy cultures were used to detect the presence of fungi in patients’ stomach. The results have showed that fungal infection rate account for 38.9% 70/180).
