Abstract
Human resource development is a very important issue, but it is hard to determine the factors that affect the development of the human resources in tourism. This study aims to identify the main factors affecting the development of human resources in tourism in Quang Ngai. The study results will be useful information for tourism managers. 220 questionnaires were sent to tourism-related departments, industries, associations, training institutions, sectors and tourism enterprises in Quang Ngai (n = 220). The research uses SPSS 16.0 software for data analysis Data analysis results show that there are 7 factors affecting human resource development in tourism in Quang Ngai.They are economy– culture – society, quality of Quang Ngai people, education and training, the policy of state support, work environment and labor relations, training and career development; analysis and evaluation of the results of the work.
