Dịch bệnh Covid-19 diễn biến phức tạp dự báo những khó khăn cho không chỉ kinh tế Việt Nam mà còn cả nền kinh tế toàn cầu. Trong bối cảnh đó, khởi nghiệp được kỳ vọng như một giải pháp có thể giúp các nền kinh tế đang gặp khó khăn sau khủng hoảng nhanh chóng phục hồi. Dựa trên nghiên cứu của Liñán và Chen (2009) có xem xét khía cạnh chuyển đổi số, nghiên cứu này đề xuất một mô hình liên kết ý định tự kinh doanh sinh viên của đến quá trình chuyển đổi số-quá trình đi kèm với những cơ hội tạo ra các mô hình kinh doanh mới [1]. Kết quả cho thấy Thái độ cá nhân (PA) và Nhận thức kiểm soát hành vi (PBC) là những yếu tố chính quyết định Ý định khởi nghiệp. Ngoài ra mô hình SEM cũng chỉ ra Hỗ trợ từ giáo dục, Hỗ trợ từ mối quan hệ và yếu tố mới xuất hiện trong nghiên cứu là Công nghệ thông tin và truyền thông (ICT) có ảnh hưởng lên Ý định khởi nghiệp thông qua hai yếu tố trung gian là PA và PBC.
