Trong bối cảnh đô thị hóa nhanh chóng và các thách thức môi trường đi kèm, Việt Nam đã chọn đô thị thông minh làm giải pháp trọng tâm. Tuy nhiên, các nghiên cứu trước đây còn thiếu sót về việc đánh giá sự chấp nhận của người dân và vai trò của chính phủ trong quá trình này. Nghiên cứu này tập trung vào việc khảo sát các yếu tố: tin vào năng lực bản thân, nỗ lực mong đợi, nhận thức độ bảo mật, niềm tin vào chính phủ, niềm tin vào công nghê và giá trị giá cả ảnh hưởng đến sự chấp nhận sử dụng công nghệ đô thị thông minh của người dân Đà Nẵng, một thành phố tiên phong trong lĩnh vực này ở Việt Nam. Kết quả cho thấy, mỗi yếu tố trên đều tác động đến ý định sử dụng công nghệ đô thị thông minh. Bài báo sẽ đóng góp vào việc lấp đầy khoảng trống nghiên cứu về đô thị thông minh ở Việt Nam, đồng thời cung cấp thông tin hữu ích cho việc quản lý và phát triển đô thị thông minh tại Đà Nẵng và Việt Nam.
