Nghiên cứu này trình bày mô phỏng 3D CFD quá trình cháy amoniac nguyên chất trên động cơ xe máy tốc độ cao (7500 vòng/phút) bằng ANSYS Fluent và mô hình Zimont. Để tăng độ chính xác so với việc giả định giá trị hằng số, nghiên cứu đã ứng dụng hàm UDF về tốc độ cháy tầng theo định luật lũy thừa, xét đến các yếu tố áp suất, nhiệt độ xi-lanh và nồng độ hỗn hợp. Nghiên cứu tập trung phân tích ảnh hưởng của góc đánh lửa sớm (35°-50° BTDC) và tốc độ cháy tầng tham chiếu (SL0 = 0.04-0.10 m/s) đến áp suất, nhiệt độ cực đại, công suất phanh và phát thải NOx. Kết quả cho thấy quá trình cháy tối ưu tại 45° BTDC (gấp 1,5-2 lần động cơ xăng), tương ứng công suất 4,08 kW và 311 ppm NOx. Do mật độ năng lượng thấp, công suất khi dùng amoniac giảm 33-44% so với xăng. Phân tích độ nhạy chứng minh SL0 gây biến thiên 26,6% về công suất và trên 300% về NOx. Giá trị SL0 = 0,07 m/s nhận được phù hợp nhất với dữ liệu thực nghiệm mới nhất.
