Nghiên cứu này đi sâu vào tìm hiểu tác động của tâm lý và góc nhìn từ cấp quản lý đối với biến đổi khí hậu đến khả năng tiếp cận tín dụng thương mại của doanh nghiệp. Thông qua việc phân tích bộ dữ liệu thực nghiệm gồm 927 doanh nghiệp thuộc 30 quốc gia châu Á trong giai đoạn từ năm 2002 đến năm 2023, kết quả cho thấy quan điểm của ban lãnh đạo về biến đổi khí hậu có ảnh hưởng sâu sắc đến mức độ tín dụng thương mại mà họ nhận được. Cụ thể, những doanh nghiệp thể hiện thái độ tích cực, chủ động đối với các vấn đề môi trường thường xây dựng được niềm tin tốt hơn, từ đó thu hút hạn mức tín dụng ưu đãi hơn từ phía các nhà cung cấp. Kết quả này chứng minh rằng góc nhìn tích cực của nhà quản lý hoạt động như một tín hiệu phát đi hiệu quả, giúp nâng cao uy tín thương hiệu và làm gia tăng kỳ vọng của các đối tác về triển vọng phát triển bền vững của doanh nghiệp trong tương lai.
