Analysis of barriers in the development of electronic payment in Viet Nam

Abstract

The introduction of electronic payment has brought about a lot of utility in payment and overcome the limitations of the payment method in cash. Moreover, it has also met the requirements of the knowledge economy. Thus, the electronic payment needs to be developed to become a popular means of payment for both people and organizations in the economy. However, in Vietnam, the electronic payment activities have not really developed and not yet caught up with the world trend. So, this paper studies and analyzes the barriers to the development of e-payment in Vietnam. From that, it helps businesses and the government have solutions and policies to promote the development of electronic payments in the country.
