Applying the method of Service Learning at Nguyen Hien Dinh Tuong Theatre, Da Nang city

Service Learning (SL) is an active teaching and learning method with which learners are able to apply in-class knowledge into real life. The results of learning process will meet the demands of the communities.
This paper mentions the project that applies SL to the subject “Oriental Culture” of curriculum of Oriental Studies, Department of International Studies, University of Foreign Languages Studies,The University of Danang.The aim of this application is to spread Tuong art of Nguyen Hien Dinh Tuong Theatre to the community. 　
The results of this project are considered as efforts in reforming teaching methods at college levels as well as linking learning in higher education and students’ experiences with local cultural communities.
