Abstract

This study evaluates the impact of economic growth on the business capital capacity of enterprises in the Central Key Economic Region. Using Quantile Regression (QR) models and Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) models, the research examines the effects of economic factors not only at the average level but also across different quantiles, while analyzing both short-term and long-term impacts. The results indicate that economic growth has a strong positive impact, particularly at lower-middle quantiles and in the long term. Human capital and technical proficiency also show positive effects, whereas the business environment (PCI) has a negative impact. The study suggests policies to sustain growth, enhance workforce quality, improve the business environment, and encourage investment in technology to strengthen the business capital capacity of enterprises.
