Some requirements for designing and solving case studies in Private International Law

Abstract

Case studies are popularly applied in teaching law subjects with an aim to enhance students’ activeness, interest and professional skills. This article, based on Private International Law identities, analyzes some basic requirements for designing and solving legal case studies in terms of cohesiveness, vividness, practicality, extensiveness and typicalness in specific civil law relationships adjusted by this branch of law. The article also proposes some case study solving procedures for law lecturers to apply in theoretical and discussion hours. Moreover, fundamental case study solving techniques are introduced to students to help them attend the course of Private International Law more effectively.
