Establishing a solar energy system model with basic parameters for households in rural Vietnam

The world has advanced quickly in using renewable energy, including developing technologies to convert different types of energy and state policies to encourage the use of these energy sources to ensure sustainable development.
In addition to building large renewable energy plants, depending on their economic potentials and practical conditions, each country has its own policy of developing and using renewable energy on small scale, such as at residential clusters, small production facilities as well as in households…
This paper studies the actual electricity consumption for daily domestic use in some rural areas of Vietnam. A solar energy system model with suitable scale is then proposed. This is for the aim of reducing initial investment cost while satisfying most of people\'s needs.
