Nghiên cứu kết hợp lý thuyết Kích hoạt tiêu chuẩn và khung S-O-R (Kích thích – Chủ thể - Phản ứng) nhằm xác định các yếu tác động đến hành vi du lịch có trách nhiệm (DLCTN). Dữ liệu được thu thập từ 302 khách nội địa đến du lịch tại Hòa Bắc, Đà Nẵng. Kết quả cho thấy, có 4 yếu tố tác động trực tiếp đến hành vi DLCTN gồm hình ảnh điểm đến, giá trị cảm nhận, nhận thức về tác hại của du lịch và chuẩn mực đạo đức cá nhân. Kết quả khẳng định hình ảnh điểm đến ảnh hưởng đến giá trị cảm nhận và nhận thức về tác hại của du lịch tác động đến chuẩn mực đạo đức cá nhân. Nghiên cứu cũng chỉ ra giá trị cảm nhận giữ vai trò trung gian trong sự ảnh hưởng của hình ảnh điểm đến lên hành vi DLCTN; và nhận thức về tác hại của du lịch tác động đến hành vi DLCTN qua trung gian chuẩn mực đạo đức cá nhân. Nghiên cứu gợi mở các hàm ý nhằm gia tăng hành vi DLCTN của du khách.
