Năm 1991, ASEAN và Trung Quốc đã trở thành đối tác đối thoại của nhau. Trong những năm qua, quan hệ hợp tác giữa ASEAN và Trung Quốc đã từng bước phát triển trên nhiều lĩnh vực khác nhau, không chỉ giới hạn trong lĩnh vực kinh tế, ngoại giao mà còn mở rộng sang nhiều lĩnh vực khác như văn hoá, giáo dục, du lịch... Do đó, việc nghiên cứu thực trạng hợp tác văn hóa, giáo dục giữa ASEAN với Trung Quốc để có những biện pháp thúc đẩy sự phát triển mạnh hơn nữa mối quan hệ này có ý nghĩa quan trọng. Bài viết này tập trung phân tích bối cảnh, các nhân tố tác động và thực tiễn triển khai hoạt động hợp tác văn hóa, giáo dục Trung Quốc – ASEAN giai đoạn 2011 – 2020. Từ đó, bài viết đưa ra đánh giá kết quả và hạn chế của quá trình hợp tác văn hóa, giáo dục này.
